Just. Oh. My. God. I cannot even begin to describe how excited I am for this movie. This trailer is amazing, and the song in the middle literally gave me chills. I first tried reading The Hobbit after the Lord of the Rings movies came out, and honestly didn’t really get into it. Then I took it up again in a children’s lit class in university, and totally, completely fell in love. Now I count it (and the LOTR trilogy) among my all-time favourite, absolute favourite, books. It’s among my go-to comfort books when I feel like a bit of an escape.
Now it looks like it will be an awesome, absolutely magical movie. Anyone else as excited as I am? 😀 When did you first read The Hobbit?
By the way, as a fan of the Sherlock series on BBC, I’m thrilled that Martin Freeman is Bilbo Baggins. And that Benedict Cumberbatch is also in the film! *happy sigh*
