I believe books are meant to be enjoyed, and the best books are those that so completely captivate you that you lose all sense of the real world and for a few blissful, heart-pounding, heart-wrenching hours, all that is real is the story.

Review Policy

I accept the following for review:

FICTION: contemporary fiction, chick lit, mysteries, romance, science fiction/fantasy, literary fiction, young adult, graphic novels, plays

NON-FICTION: memoirs, women’s studies, performing arts

I’m particularly interested in books by writers or artists who are: Filipino, Asian, Asian-American, Persons of Colour, particularly Women of Colour, LGBTQ2SA, disabled, and D/deaf.

I also prefer reviewing print books over e-books.

When contacting me about a book, whenever possible, please include a link to an online excerpt, just so I have an idea on how I’ll respond to the author’s writing style.
